Solar Energy

Future-proof your home with clean, renewable energy that is good for the environment and good for your wallet too.

Just as the sun powers life on Earth, it can power your home too. Here are 8 compelling benefits that a solar system can deliver to make your life better. As long as we have the sun, we will have solar power.

Solar energy helps secure a clean power future for all future generations.

Reduce power bills

When the sun shines, you generate your own solar powered electricity, which means you minimise your reliance on the grid. By installing a system that generates your own solar energy, you minimise your exposure to ongoing year on year increases in electricity prices.

Store your electricity

For those days when the sun doesn’t shine, a solar storage battery means you can store the energy generated and use it to power your home. Batteries give you energy independence.

Increase your home’s value

A solar system generates free, renewable energy that is not only good for the environment but also for the resale value of your home. New home builds now include energy efficiency star ratings. Homeowners should aim for more stars because this means a better resale value. Even if you’re not planning to sell in the short-term, you will still realise the value of installing a solar system. In many cases, our high-quality solar systems offer a return on investment in under 5 years.

Renewable energy source

Solar power is a renewable energy source, which is its most important benefit. Solar energy can be harnessed anywhere in the world and is available every day. We will never run out of solar energy, unlike fossil fuels. As long as we have the sun, we can generate solar energy.

Better for the planet and better for you.

Solar power is the way of the future. There is no better time than right now to take advantage of the Federal and State Government rebates. At, we make installing solar solutions for your home even easier and more affordable than ever before.

Take advantage of rebates

Homeowners that meet the eligibility criteria can take advantage of the Federal and State Government rebates and incentives to minimise the cost of switching to solar. uses Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited installers that install CEC approved products. These are mandatory requirements for accessing state Government rebates.

Low maintenance costs

Because only uses high quality solar energy system components, you’ll find our solar energy systems require little maintenance. Just keep them clean and take advantage of our warranties for true peace of mind.

Create a better lifestyle

Relying on less power consumed from the grid to generating your own solar electricity doesn’t mean you’re having to compromise. You can still heat and cool your home and use all your appliances whilst enjoying cheaper electricity bills, better environmental outcomes, a higher value for your property and silent energy production. With no moving parts, our solar panels require little to no maintenance – the only thing you need to remember is to get your solar panels cleaned once a year.

We only live on one planet.

By installing a solar energy system, you will play a big part in reducing the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere because solar power is a zero-emission energy source. You will be also be helping Australia achieve its Renewable Energy Target, where 20% of our electricity is generated from renewable sources which will help limit the drastic effects of climate change.

Government Solar Rebates & Incentives

Get help going solar by accessing Federal and State Government rebates & incentives which are now available to all eligible homeowners. Learn about government rebates, small-scale renewable energy scheme and energy retailer feed-in-tariffs (FITs) below.

What are solar rebates?

Depending on where you live, you may be able to access different government rebates and incentives. Read on for more details on the various rebates and what it means for you.

Victorian Rebates

Victorian Solar Homes Package State Government Rebate.

Victorians can access a state government rebate scheme through the SolarVictoria’s Solar Homes Package. This rebate scheme is currently in operation and eligible homeowners can claim a rebate up to $1,888 off the cost of a solar system.

To qualify for the Victorian rebate, homeowners must be able to answer ‘Yes’ to the following:

  • Do you have a combined household taxable income of less than $180,000 per annum? (based on your latest tax assessment notices for the home owners or alternative proof of income for the last financial year. For example, proof of pension received).
  • Are you the owner-occupier of the property? (as listed on the Council Rates Notice from the last 12 months)
  • Is the property valued at under $3 million? (based on the Capital Improved Value listed on the Council Rates Notice from the last 12 months)
  • I don’t have solar PV on my property OR I am replacing my solar PV system that was installed before 1 November 2009*.

S.A Rebates

South Australia’s Solar Home Battery Scheme.

Available to 40,000 households, South Australian’s can now access $100 million in State Government rebates to help pay for the installation of home solar battery systems.

The rebate is available to all South Australians, and calculated on the kilowatt hour capacity of the solar battery purchased. Furthermore, Energy Concession Holders are eligible for a higher subsidy, ensuring low-income households are supported to access the Scheme.

Home Battery Scheme rebates:

  • Energy concession holder $600.00 per kilowatt hour (kWh)
  • All other households $500.00 per kilowatt hour (kWh)

For example, a solar battery with 5kWh of storage could receive a $2500 rebate, or $3000 for energy concession holders. While the rebate will vary depending on the size of the battery, it is capped for everyone at a maximum of $6,000 per battery installed.

What are Government STC’S?

Small-scale technology certificates (STCs) or ‘Incentives’ differ from solar rebates as they are nationwide. Under this solar scheme, the federal government pays you upfront for the system’s expected power generation up to the year 2030.

The Small-Scale Renewable Energy Scheme creates a financial incentive for individuals and small businesses to install eligible small-scale renewable energy systems such as solar panel solutions. It does this through the creation of small-scale technology certificates (STCs), which are provided upfront for the system’s expected power generation from the installation year until 2030 when the scheme ends. Generally, the STC incentive is paid as an upfront discount on the price of the solar solution and is calculated based on the amount of electricity a system produces, the date of installation and location.

What is a Feed in Tariff?

A Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) is a payment that you receive via your electricity retailer as a credit on your bill for the excess electricity that your solar system produces.

A Feed-In-Tariff (FIT) is a payment that you receive via your electricity retailer as a credit on your bill for the excess electricity that your solar system produces and is fed back to the grid. The FIT is a rate that is set per kilowatt hour (kWh), and the rates vary depending on your retailer. The FIT helps households ensure that any excess solar energy is not going to waste and credits mean a reduction on your electricity bills. Talk to your energy retailer about your Feed-In Tariffs.
